At Payara we are closely monitoring global developments and have implemented our Business Continuity Plan to help us, our customers and our community through this difficult time.
Our primary concern is for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our staff and their families and have therefore asked everyone to work from home where possible and to follow their governments advice around restrictions.
As a cloud-native company whose critical resources are cloud-based and accessible from anywhere, and with a geographically distributed team that excels at collaborating virtually, we know we will be able to continue to serve our customers and community on a business as usual basis without interruption or degradation of service.
We will continuously review the situation and take all necessary steps to ensure our customers worldwide can rely on us to support their business-critical applications with the same excellent level of service they have come to expect from Payara.
Like many other businesses we have had to make adjustments to our planned business activities so, in order to help reduce the transmission of the virus so we have minimised the need to travel by cancelling or postponing events/ conferences etc and by ensuring all meetings are carried out virtually. We aim to help our staff maintain social distancing, therefore any necessary business activity that involves in person meetings or travel will be reviewed on a case by case basis and the most appropriate actions planned.
