Our Payara corporate values are the guiding principles on which we base our relationships and drive our approach with the community, our customers, and our internal affairs. Our seven values are based on; Community, Excellence, Growth, Openness, Initiative, Passion and Trust.
As Head of Sales for the Payara Enterprise team, it is my role to ensure that these values are at the core of all our sales activities. The sales profession generally, has not always been synonymous with a number of our Payara values, especially ‘Openness’ and ‘Trust’, but at Payara we do things differently.
We build ‘Trust’ by doing what we say we will do, by when we said we would do it. We really listen as we have a genuine interest in understanding each client and their specific needs. We use the knowledge we gain to present the most appropriate solutions in an open and honest way.
We know that our success is directly linked to our client’s success. We don’t celebrate when we sign a new Payara Enterprise client, we celebrate when we have delivered on our promises and the customer is completely satisfied.
When it comes to ‘Growth’ we each take responsibility for our own learning and have a thirst for knowledge. We share our learning experiences with sales colleagues, so when one of us learns, we all learn.
