Cake Sale for Macmillan Cancer Support

If you are a regular reader of our Fish Food for Thought Blogs, you probably already know that the Payarans can’t say no to a cake 😉 So, once again, we decided to turn our love for cake into something useful and last Friday, the 18th of October, we took part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning, selling a huge variety of home-baked cakes!

I’m happy to say that by the end of the day, we managed to raise £266 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity – whoop whoop!

Personally, I’m extremely proud of the Payara Malvern Office Team for their time, effort and skill – I’ve never seen such a great selection of home-made cakes before! I’m telling you, some Payarans can REALLY bake (and decorate)! If you don’t believe me, just look at the photos below – a word of warning though – they will most likely make you crave something sweet.

 

 

 

Great thanks to the Malvern Hills Science Park staff (Wendy!) for helping us set up the event and providing fresh tea & coffee. And of course a huge thanks to all of the Science Park tenants who donated money for this great cause and enjoyed our cakes with us!
