Payara Opens Applications for Internships

Payara has opened applications for its internship programme, providing the opportunity for successful candidates to learn from its experienced and international team.

Based in The Malvern Hills Science Park, Payara is dedicated to helping students and aspiring professionals develop their skillset in the tech sector and is now offering students in full time higher education the opportunity to work with its high-performing team for up to six months.

Successful applicants will work alongside the highly skilled software development team to help create and complete new product releases to a deadline, providing real-life experience that could prove vital for those looking to develop a career within the tech sector.

Interns can also use this opportunity to work on existing college or university projects with the valued knowledge and support of Payara employees.

Julia Millidge, Human Resources and Operations Manager for Payara Services confirmed:

“Internships provide an invaluable opportunity for young people looking to enter the tech industry as a graduate, and in being part of a fully functioning workforce students have the opportunity to work on their portfolio, increase their confidence and develop competitive advantage over their peers.”

“At Payara, we hold strong cultural values and are extremely dedicated to supporting staff development. Since launching our own Apprenticeship and Internship programme several years ago, not only have we helped many young professionals develop their expertise, but we have also found several long-standing team members who have become a true asset to the development of the firm.”

Though Payara’s initial internship intake will be tech focused, the firm has plans to widen the scope to include opportunities within other departments such as Finance, HR, Marketing and Sales.

Founded on strong principles and values that encourage and support learning and development, Payara Services Ltd aims to attract enthusiastic and talented people towards the IT industry through practical experience.
