Payara Server 7.2025.2
The December 2025 release of Payara Platform Community delivers stronger JWT authentication reliability, key security patches, and improved database monitoring accuracy. Community contributions enhance overall stability, including fixes for class loader leaks, better cleanup after failed EAR deployments, and safer injection handling for EAR root applications. The release also upgrades Jersey to version 4.0.0 and refines Asadmin documentation for a smoother command line experience.

This final Payara Community 6 release delivers faster JDBC setup with the new –no-validation flag, improved deployment stability, and more reliable routing behavior. It resolves issues with versioned deployments, virtual server configuration, and performance under high load, while ensuring accurate OpenAPI generation across all endpoints. Updated Docker images with JDK 21.0.9, 17.0.17, and 11.0.29 provide stronger security and runtime consistency.
Payara Community 6 has now reached its end of life, so this version represents the last maintenance update for the 6.x community stream.
