The United States Coast Guard is the maritime branch of the United States Armed Forces. It has been safeguarding the American people since 1970, working to enforce national security, border security and economic security. It is a Federal government agency with 50,000 members, 200 aircraft and over 1,600 boats, protecting more than 95,000 miles of U.S. Coastline.
The software has been tremendously easy to work with. Our transition from WebLogic to Payara Enterprise is still in progress and things are progressing nicely. We have found Payara Server Enterprise to be a lot more user friendly and approachable than WebLogic and look forward to increasing our knowledge of the software to further enhance what we do here at the USCG.
